Open a card shop that operates like a technology company.
ORB Sports Cards launched in Oregon City in a 1,300 square foot space with minimal allocations from distributors. The goal wasn't just to open a shop. It was to build a retail operation that could scale without scaling headcount. Every process that could be automated should be. Every customer touchpoint that could be improved by software should be.
The off-the-shelf tools available to card shops were fragmented, generic, and designed for a different era. So we built our own.
A complete technology stack, from scratch.
We built a custom website with full e-commerce integration. We built a consignment platform that handles vendor intake, multi-channel listing, and automated payouts. We built an AI card listing pipeline that takes a card from hand to listed across 8+ sales channels in 35 seconds.
We built a grading management system for PSA submissions with automated customer notifications. We built AI automation that handles daily reporting, inventory analysis, vendor invoicing, and dozens of other operational tasks that would otherwise require dedicated staff.
Every piece of technology on the CardFlow Labs website was built to run this shop first.
$2M+ in 7 months. And accelerating.
ORB hit over $2 million in revenue within its first seven months of operation. From a 1,300 square foot space with minimal distributor allocations and no loyalty program. The technology handled the operational complexity so the team could focus on customers, community, and growth.
Now ORB is expanding into a larger space. Allocations have grown substantially. A loyalty and membership program is launching. And the shop is on track to more than double revenue in year two, using the same systems, refined and expanded.
